All Shot Up

In Chester Himes' 'All Shot Up', detectives Grave Digger Jones and Coffin Ed Johnson are plunged into the chaotic and violent underworld of Harlem. Their investigation begins with a series of bizarre crimes: a politician left in a coma after a shootout with disguised heistmen, a hit-and-run victim found embedded in a convent wall, and the mysterious appearance of a golden Cadillac seen cruising the city streets. The duo must piece together these seemingly disparate events to unravel a complex web of crime, corruption, and missing money.
