Dasuttara Sutta (From Digha Nikaya): Tenfold Teachings of Buddha on Dharma (From Bodhi Path Press)

This volume presents a translation of a significant discourse from the Digha Nikaya, a collection of long Buddhist suttas. It systematically organizes the Buddha's teachings into groups of ten, offering a comprehensive framework for understanding the path to liberation. The text explores various aspects of Dharma, ranging from single concepts to sets of ten, providing a structured approach to spiritual development.
The teachings within this discourse cover essential elements of Buddhist practice, including perceptions, grounds for wearing away unskillful qualities, and the qualities of an adept. It culminates with a detailed exposition of the ten factors that characterize the path of an Arahant, one who has completed the Buddha's practice and attained enlightenment. This systematic presentation makes profound Buddhist wisdom accessible and applicable.
This translation aims to provide a clear and accurate rendition of the original Pali text, making these ancient teachings understandable for contemporary readers. It serves as a valuable resource for anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of the Buddha's Dharma and cultivate a path towards the cessation of suffering.
