Five Point Someone

Chetan Bhagat's debut novel, 'Five Point Someone,' follows the tumultuous journey of three friends – Ryan, Alok, and Hari – as they navigate the rigorous and often cutthroat environment of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Despite their initial aspirations, the trio finds themselves struggling with failing grades, clashing personalities, and a system that seems more intent on breaking spirits than fostering creativity. Their quest to survive IIT is complicated by an unexpected romance and ongoing disputes, forcing them to question the very purpose of their education.
