Ruby Rosary

The Ruby Rosary is an in-depth presentation of the Dudjom lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, beginning with the Buddha and tracing its origins and development through Indian and Tibetan masters. Thinley Norbu's commentary illuminates a short prayer written by his father, His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche, a revered leader of the Nyingma lineage and a revealer of treasures. The root text, The Pearl Necklace, is a prayer of devotion to eighteen primary masters of the Dudjom incarnation lineage. With lively storytelling, Norbu brings to life these great yogis, scholars, and masters, from Nüden Dorje Chang, Shariputra, and Saraha to Dudjom Lingpa, concluding with an account of Dudjom Rinpoche's enlightened activities.
