Spanda-Karikas

The Spandakarikas serve as a vital commentary on the Siva-sutras, exploring the profound depths of Saivagama philosophy. While the Siva-sutras emphasize the prakasa or light aspect of the divine, the Spandakarikas focus on the vimarsa aspect, describing divine consciousness as a dynamic, throbbing, and creative pulsation known as spanda. This edition provides a comprehensive translation of both the original verses and the insightful Spanda-nirnaya commentary by Ksemaraja. It includes the original Devanagari and Roman script, detailed English translations, technical notes, and a running exposition to guide readers through this complex spiritual text.
