The Economy Of Algorithms

Marek Kowalkiewicz's 'The Economy of Algorithms: AI and the Rise of the Digital Minions' explores the profound and growing influence of algorithms and artificial intelligence in our daily lives. This book examines how these 'digital minions' are increasingly assuming human roles, fundamentally reshaping the global economic landscape.
Kowalkiewicz presents an era he terms the 'economy of algorithms,' where sophisticated algorithms automate a wide range of tasks, driving productivity and efficiency. The book critically analyzes how these systems are used in decision-making, from loan approvals to job applications, raising vital questions about fairness, transparency, and the potential for new forms of societal inequality. The author concludes with a series of recommendations for responsibly navigating and shaping this evolving digital economy.
