The Fortune Men

In the bustling Tiger Bay of Cardiff, 1952, Mahmood Mattan is a Somali sailor, a father, and a petty criminal known for his charming roguishness. When a local shopkeeper is brutally murdered, all eyes fall on Mahmood, despite his adamant claims of innocence. He believes that the truth, and the unwavering love of his estranged Welsh wife Laura, will be enough to clear his name.
As the trial unfolds, Mahmood discovers he is caught in a fight for his life against deeply entrenched conspiracy, prejudice, and cruelty, where the truth may prove insufficient to secure his freedom.
