The Metaphysics

The Metaphysics by Aristotle
is a cornerstone of Western philosophy, delving into the fundamental questions of existence, change
, and the nature of reality. In this seminal work, Aristotle challenges both the Platonic notion of reality as mere shadows and the materialist view that all processes are purely physical. Instead, he proposes that the essence of things lies in their concrete forms, exploring concepts such as substance, matter, form, essence, accident, potentiality, and actuality. These ideas have profoundly influenced Western thought and established a central branch of philosophy.
