The Premonitions Bureau

Premonitions, though seemingly impossible, often manifest in reality. While many are innocuous, what if you possessed knowledge of an impending catastrophe? Imagine a sudden vision: the words CHARING CROSS. Four days later, a crowded express train derails just outside the station. What if sharing your premonition could avert such a disaster? In 1966, Dr. John Barker, a psychiatrist in a British mental hospital, established the Premonitions Bureau to explore these profound questions. He uncovered a vast network of hundreds of correspondents, ranging from bank clerks to ballet teachers. Among them were two exceptionally gifted 'percipients' who accurately predicted plane crashes, assassinations, and international incidents.
