The Reading List

When Mukesh Patel makes an unexpected stop at the local library, stepping away from his routine of grocery shopping and David Attenborough documentaries, he has no idea that his life is about to change forever. There, he meets Aleisha, a hesitant librarian who stumbles upon a curious reading list—a simple, scrappy piece of paper with the names of nine stories. Story by story, Mukesh and Aleisha journey through the list, their worries fading with each book they read, and their hearts opening with every world they discover in their unlikely book club of two.
