The Six Bardos Of The Tibetan Book of the Dead

In this enlightening guide, renowned Dzogchen masters Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche delve into the profound teachings of the bardos of life and death as presented in the Bardo Thodrol, or The Tibetan Book of the Dead. They explore the concept that all sentient beings are inherently enlightened, yet become entangled in ego-clinging and delusion, a state known as the bardo. Through their Dzogchen perspective, the authors illuminate key elements such as the Vajrayana teachings, the five elements, and the nature of the six bardos, with a focus on the bardo of dying. This book offers practical advice for enhancing self-awareness, caring for oneself and others, and facing life’s challenges, particularly the process of dying, with courage and clarity.
