Wayward Son

In Wayward Son, the highly anticipated sequel to Carry On, Simon Snow faces an unexpected challenge: life after saving the world. Despite defeating the villain and finding love, Simon struggles with depression and stagnation. When his best friend Penny suggests a change of scenery, Simon, Penny, and Baz embark on a road trip across the American West, seeking adventure and answers.
Their journey is fraught with the unexpected, including encounters with dragons, vampires, and other magical creatures. As they navigate new landscapes and old tensions, the trio must confront their own identities and the meaning of "happily ever after" in a world where the hero's story continues long after the battle is won.
