Jónas, disillusioned and contemplating ending his life, embarks on a one-way trip to a remote, war-torn country. He finds himself at the dilapidated Hotel Silence, a seemingly forgotten establishment that appears to suit his despair. However, his unexpected interactions with the hotel's few residents—including a mother and her young son—and the unfolding story of the surrounding community, gradually challenge his intentions.
