In the Lives of Puppets

In a world where robots and humans coexist, Victor lives a secluded life with his unconventional family: a nurturing android father, Giovanni Lawson, a pleasantly sadistic nurse machine, and a small, attention-seeking vacuum. Their quiet existence is shattered when Victor salvages 'HAP,' an android whose past links him to Giovanni's darker history of human hunting. When HAP inadvertently reveals Giovanni's location, former associates arrive to reclaim him, forcing Victor and his remaining family on a perilous journey across a strange landscape to rescue Giovanni from reprogramming. This queer retelling of Pinocchio explores themes of identity, family, and the complex nature of love amidst a thrilling adventure.
