Incidents at the Shrine

"Incidents at the Shrine" presents Ben Okri's debut collection of short stories, published prior to his Booker Prize-winning novel, "The Famished Road." This volume explores a diverse range of themes, from the Nigerian Civil War through a child's perspective to the mystical interplay of Lagos and the spirit world, and the realities of dispossession in urban Britain.
