Land Where I Flee

Prajwal Parajuly's 'Land Where I Flee' gathers three estranged grandchildren—Agastaya, Manasa, and Bhagwati—in Gangtok, Sikkim, for their formidable grandmother Chitralekha Nepauney's 84th birthday. Each carries personal burdens: Agastaya, a successful oncologist, fears family scrutiny over his single status; Manasa, an Oxford-educated achiever, navigates her own complexities; and Bhagwati, once disgraced, seeks acceptance. Despite their disparate lives, they unite with a shared goal: to secure their grandmother's blessing and maintain composure amidst family drama, complicated by a mischievous maid and an unexpected guest.
