The Castle of Crossed Destinies

In Italo Calvino's 'The Castle Of Crossed Destinies', a diverse group of travelers gathers, first in a mysterious castle and later a tavern. Stripped of their ability to speak, they are compelled to communicate their individual life stories using only the symbolic images of tarot cards. This unique constraint gives rise to a complex and interwoven tapestry of narratives, exploring fate, memory, and the human condition through a distinctive, combinatorial lens.
