The Intelligent Investor

Widely regarded as the bible of value investing,
The Intelligent Investor
by Benjamin Graham presents timeless wisdom on the philosophy of value investing. First published in 1949, the book outlines a long-term approach to investing that emphasizes careful analysis, discipline, and avoiding the pitfalls of speculative market trends. Graham, known as the "father of value investing," introduces the concept of "value investing" — seeking stocks that are undervalued in the market, purchasing them for less than their intrinsic value, and holding them over the long term. This approach is designed to minimize risk and maximize returns, making it an essential read for investors at all levels.
The third edition, which includes updates and commentary by Jason Zweig, a financial journalist, provides additional modern insights and clarifications on Graham's original teachings, making the book even more relevant for today's investment climate.
