Timmur

From the backcover This cookbook celebrates Nepal's rich and diverse culinary cultures, offering over a hundred dishes from across the country. Just as the taste and use of timmur exhibit depth and breadth, Nepal's food culture is equally complex and diverse, reflecting the country's ethnic and cultural diversity, varied topography, and cross-border influences. Yet, Nepali cuisine is often narrowly defined both outside and inside the country, failing to capture the unique culinary heritage of the myriad ethnicities that call Nepal home. This book seeks to change that narrative by spotlighting and preserving the authentic flavours of Nepal's diverse culinary landscape. Within the pages of this book, you'll discover not only the recipes of Nepali cuisines but also the captivating stories and histories behind them, inviting you on a journey through Nepal's rich culinary tradition.
